Employment Pass (EP): For professionals offered jobs with a salary of SGD 4,500+. Valid for 2 years, renewable for up to 3 years. Overseas sponsorship is possible if the employer is not Singapore-registered.
S Pass: For mid-skilled workers earning at least SGD 2,500. Employers must apply on behalf of candidates. Valid for 2 years, renewable later.
EntrePass: For innovative international entrepreneurs to start or operate businesses in Singapore. Requires venture backing or innovative technology.
LTVP - If you don’t get a job in 90 days you can convert to Long-term Visa Pass(LTVP) which allows you to stay for 1 or 2 years more depending on the profile
Postgraduate degrees typically take two years, though some, like teaching certificates, can be completed in one year.
The Ministry of Education (MOE) offers government subsidies for most Ph.D courses.
